Grrrrooming

This afternoon, Pip got his little coat combed down and is all silky and smelling great now.  I also clipped his nails while Paul cuddled him.  He did pretty well, but on one of them I accidentally got the quick.  He whimpered and I teared up.  Poor little guy.  We cuddled him and let him know we didn't do it on purpose.  Unfortunately, he still had two more paws to get clipped.  However, he let me finish them and then get pampered a little more.  Sweet little thing.  Now to see how he does with fireworks tonight.
